The Power of Music: Exploring its Impact on Everyday Life

Abstract

Roberto G. Ortiz [Instructor Name] English 1302-160 22 September 2022 [Name] English 1301 granted me opportunities to learn about the essence of the subject of English. There is so much that was taught to us, but something that I feel like I really incorporated is the sense of inspiration that is required to pursue and research a paper that is handed to us even if it’s an experimental one. At St. Mary’s Mr. Kaderli always knew how to inspire his students to go and give them the sense to get personally in touch with each and every essay we would do. With this being said, this is why I chose to incorporate an experiment that I experiment on in my day-to-day routine. Something that Mr. Kaderli passionately would teach us about is women’s literature, I’m pretty sure where you can tell where this might be going. As good and interesting as women’s literature was, this is something that I unfortunately couldn’t incorporate into my experimental essay that required the beautiful art of music. Researching the different effects of music in correlation with the feeling that is transmitted to us via this music was very interesting and provided me with a new perspective on research essays. It not only showed me how to properly use peer-reviewed essays that provided further insight into the task at hand, but I learned how to cite myself as well. As great as my first essay was, there were some things that I simply can’t transmit to my other college subjects. A great example of this would be the subject of statistics. I simply can’t incorporate music with the calculations of stats. If we were ever to get technical then maybe, but music doesn’t have anything to do with statistics and calculations that we currently are...
