Good writing is not just a mere choice of words. It entails something specific and memorable by promoting coherence, unity, fluency, focus, and correctness. It is qualitative and involves saying the right words for the right things in the correct context. It is easier to tell whether a piece of writing is good simply by reading it. Expressive writing is a weapon that stimulates the mind and influences one’s confidence. Making writing a habit generates new ideas that enhance an individual's creativity. Ideas are the heart of a good piece of writing. It is vital since ideas relate to the information provided by the writer to ascertain whether the piece is exciting or not. The future of writing is bright. I believe that writing will represent our voices since it forms a debate and critical discussion about ideas. Everything about writing is future-oriented, helping set clear paths and overcoming problems. I believe I will use writing in the future to benefit the community. There are many atrocities in society, such as racism, romantic relationships, narcissism, abuse of women, and inequality, yet no one is talking about them. I will use writing and critical thinking to unveil the menaces that are going on in society. Critical thinking is essential in educating people in today’s society. Writing and critical thinking are interrelated. Their relationship is that they complement each other. A person has to think critically to gather information to write about. Every writing requires an individual to think critically to achieve the desired goals. Critical thinking is not something easy, and many writers can attest to this. It is something that is practiced and emanates as an acquired skill. Even if one has ideas and content to write about, one must think critically to enhance a logical flow and presentation of the ideas. Critical thinking is a form of assessment during writing. It connects the writer to past encounters making the piece of writing interesting.
