NRA receives a lot of money from donations and gun companies. Democrats argue that NRA is a lobbying organization that is used by gun companies to promote their product. Ted Deutch believes that NRA represents the interests of gun companies. The NRA receives criticism for giving golden jackets in exchange for the donations. The republicans argue out that the solution to gun violence is buying more guns after a mass shooting in ahigh school in Florida. The democrats are questioning the legitimacy of the NRA. In the September 2020, the NRA PVF endorsed Dale Crafts a republican nominee due to his undying support for gun rights, and the constitution. The NRA action committee grades their candidates on their take on the Second Amendment issues, and the steps and dedication the individual has taken to promote and defend the constitution. The committee gives an β€˜A’ to an excellent supporting candidate and an β€˜F’ to those who do not support the second amendment. Support on gun rights comes first for the NRA committee rather than the party’s affiliation. The NRA has political interest and has the ability to persuade citizens to vote in their preferred candidate. Their members in the U.S merge to 5million strong making it the largest, focused, and eminent interest group.
