Abstract
Conflict in the Middle East The conflict in the middle east is still a rage, with suicide bombings and militia violence taking place daily. The nature and age of the conflict are overwhelming, which makes peace in the middle east almost impossible to attain. The causes of the conflict vary depending on ethnic, political, religious, and social aspects. The competition for territories is one of the major causes of conflict in the middle east. World War I saw the end of the Ottoman empire, and the Brish took over, including a part in the middle east, present-day Israel. in 1936, Palestine rebelled against the British, and investigations alluded that they wanted to govern the British land. The British resorted to advice through the peel commission, where they sought the United Nations, and they concluded that the best option was to divide the land, and the conflict between the Arabs and the Jews escalated. The fear is that there is no prospect of resolution in the near future. Israel and its neighbors are always in conflict because of territories. For instance, Palestine and Israel fight over the occupation of the Gaza strip. The Palestine Society is furious about Israel's occupation of the strip, and the road to peace is Israel leaving the Gaza strip. When a country tries to occupy another nationβs state or territory, the United Nations and the international community are at the forefront of resisting it. But in the case of Israel, the matter has been abandoned and left silent, which has raised eyebrows, fueling war between the two nations.
