Faith-Based Discussion Post Christian citizenship is entwined with a huge responsibility. As a law-abiding citizens, Christians, the huge task they should exercise that alleges their faith is a civic responsibility. This responsibility hails in obeying the laws of the State. In the Biblical setting, the apostle Paul taught civic responsibility, which entails paying taxes, licenses, rates, and levies linked to the country's development. Obeying the authorities alludes that Christians obey God's commands and that the leaders choose for them. The Bible reminds Christians that obeying State obligations is ethical and moral. They ought to mobilize organizations and lobby groups to advocate for what is right for the government. The famous quote in the Bible," Give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceaser and God what belongs to him ."Christians should not confront and clash with the government on paying their dues. It is their civic responsibility expected of them by God. Children of God must do away with activities that do not conform to his teachings, like tax evasion and engaging in shoddy deals without knowing the State. Christians should follow the rules set by the State, and the attitude towards the government indicates one's conformity towards Christ. The attitude towards the State should be a respectful one. The ignorance of the law is no excuse for every Christian. All nations have a constitution with a set of rules and practices each citizen ought to abide by. It is the civic responsibility of each Christian to obey the constitution.
