Prioritizing American Interests: The Case for the American First Caucus

Abstract

American First Caucus (AFC) AFC is an exciting platform whose existence is based on the promotion of Congressional policies directed to benefit the American nation in the long run. Based on this platform, the need for leaders to re-consider the first principle in policy-making is the key to remaining focused on the interests and demands of the American populace. American first Caucus policy platform advocates for the re-examination of policy areas such as trade, economic development, social policy, and immigration to ensure that the policymakers are not influenced by influential leaders’ interests, leading to ignorance of common American interests. Advocating for election transparency and adherence to the election set policies is a good argument posed by this platform supporting proposed nationwide systemic electoral reforms. Corona virus policies prove good and potentially able to decrease the rates of infections if all Americans adhere to them as instructed. American leaders lack a sense of service to the American people, which leads to ignorance of the first principle that defines the need to consider the interest of Americans while formulating any policy. Another bad thing is that the interests of the American people are not safeguarded as leaders who make policies tend to be so self-centered thus work for their benefits with little to no concern for the American populace's needs and interests. Ignorance of sovereignty proves an immoral act expressed by bureaucrats in Washington D.C. and the elites whose control outstandingly defines oligarchy. Such actions ignore the will of the Americans and their forefathers, whose dream for the American nation was based on individual and state sovereignty to ensure no American would feel lorded over by monarchy at any given time.
