It is clear that this Bill aims at enhancing the flow of service delivery within several state departments and offices. Precisely, with a yes on this bill, your opinion aims at emending and passing House Bill 3014 for the appropriation of money on supplemental purposes like expenses, grants, refunds, and distribution of the several departments and state offices. I believe in the collaboration of society and law enforcers for the realization of peace and reduced crime rates. However, without government support through positive policies that express concern for the police department, service delivery remains hampered which limits the positive relationship between the police and civilians. I understand that you voted yes on Invest to Protect Act of 2022 (HR 6448). I understand that this bill directs the Director of the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services of the Department of Justice to enforce a grant program that assists the police department. However, the Act provides grounds for qualification of such grants limiting it to police departments with less than 200 law enforcement officers and for other purposes. I totally agree with your opinion vote on this bill. In my opinion, any assistance to law enforcers especially with resources that can enhance their service delivery is significant. De-escalation training on law enforcement officers is essential as providing them with insights on how to relate with each other and their target audiences (society at large and offenders) can enhance their service delivery and coordination with the parties which can reduce crime cases and improve the rehabilitation process.
