Abstract

Instructor’s Name Introduction The concept of the universe's origin is puzzling to many scholars and philosophers. There are many theories, myths, beliefs, and stories about how the world began providing differences in understanding the beginning of the world. Curiosity has been a major driving force to many astronomers on the world's existence. The Big Bang Theory alludes that the universe, space, and time have an origin. The key observations that support the evidence of the Big Bang theory are the expansion of space and the cosmic microwave background in 1964, which makes the Big Bang the best theory that explains the origin of the universe. Astronomers use the big bang theory to explain how the world began. The Big Bang tells us that the universe was in the form of a primeval atom or a dense mass. The explosion of a tiny seed of matter is what is the universe today. According to (Fox, 2002), the standard story of how the big bang theory was accepted has been told so many times that it has turned into a modern myth. This discussion will focus on the origin of the Big Bang Theory and its implications for modern-day philosophers. Origin of the Big Bang Theory. According to (Coppens, 2019), the universe's origin dates back to 13.7 billion years ago. Georges Lemaitre is a Belgian Cosmologist and is regarded as the father of the Big Bang Theory. George gained insight from his fellow scientists Einstein and De Sitter. George was a mathematician, physicist, an astronomer, and a catholic priest. In 1927 he discovered the big ideal that has created a conversation to date. The idea of the Big Bang is that the universe began at a single point and then spread and enlarged to the point it is right now. The Big Bang theory believes that the world is still stretching. It is an ongoing conversation on how the world began. George Lemaitre inspired Edwin Hubble’s work two years later. In 1929, Hubble introduced the ‘Hubble’s Law’ that supported the analogy of the Big Bang theory. The law established a relationship between the distance of a galaxy and the speed at which it is approaching, moving away from our own. Many observations, calculations, and discoveries are still making it a continual process. Confirmations of the Big Bang Theory. Astronomer George Gamow confirmed George’s assertions that there was an explosion during the universe's birth, and it may have left observable traces. According to (Runeson et al., 2008), in science, whenever one predicts a theory and it is confirmed, it strengthens the theory's validity. The concept of cosmic background radiation was initiated in the Bing Bang theory and was approved in 1965 by two philosophers, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson. Confirmation of a theory gives it strength and validity, and the two philosophers made the Big Bang theory gain supremacy. The most significant evidence of the Big Bang is that galaxies appear to be moving away from us at speeds that are relational to their distance. Hubble buys this idea, and modern-day philosophers have used this evidence to explain the Big Bang theory. Confirmation of the theory is a going concern, and scientists are making new discoveries each and every day. Singularity. The singularity era is known as Planck Epoch (or Planck Era). This is regarded as the earliest period of the universe. According to (Schroeder, 2011), many scientists believe that the World came from a singularity. The universe was created from one single explosion. The concept of singularity is that all...
