Abstract

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION ESSAY. The most satisfactory element in our lives is having to achieve our goals and fulfill our dreams. Life’s blueprint is dependent on education in setting a pathway for success. My grandmother never went to school, but she always believed in education as the ultimate path to success. Getting education to its epitome guarantees a place in society, especially in today's workforce. For me, having a college education is the stepping stone to beginning my long-term career, job security, financial stability, and expounding my knowledge base. I believe with a college education; I will diversify and interact with people of various ethnicities, cultures, and characters and learn to live amicably with them in society. A college education is a critical aspect that complements success. The burden of education is overwhelming. That is why I need this scholarship. The cost of college when it comes to food, clothes, and school fee is tedious, and coming from a humble background, it will be strenuous for my guardians. I have two other siblings, and all of them need financial support for their education. This scholarship will be a relief to my hardworking guardians and a lifetime opportunity to achieve my goals. Work-study is what I have opted for when I get to college, but I feel it will be tedious working and, at the same time, studying. This scholarship will lower my working hours and give me ample time to focus on my education and ease my life on campus. Life's adversities are common and costly, especially when we encounter them.
