Abstract
The article explores sex and gender from the queer researching perspective. Based on Nelson (2020), there is always an unanswered question while researching sex and gender from the LGBT among other queer group perspectives. In this article, Nelson argues that when researchers direct their attention to studying LGBT+, they become identified as queer researchers, making many scholars divert their attention to researching straight identities to avoid such titles. On further account, the article confirms that being an LGBT identifies such a character as queer, which proves an open challenge for the public in understanding the proper meaning of sex and gender as the common identifiers of human identity. The article concludes by confirming that researchers risk their lives and their identities in their efforts to study one's identity, primarily while engaged with people identified as queer groups and associate such researchers to the same identities. It is an article that explores the impact of research on the researcher concerning identity as coined around sex and gender. The author uses an analytical auto-ethnography to utilize his lived experiences as a bisexual/queer non-binary person whose urge to research the LGBT issue remains well defined. The author also involves queer and feminist experiences and information to help ruminate on how the field of studying such identities impacts the researcher resulting in a certain degree of introspection, which may later change the researcher's identity. For this reason, since the research aims at analyzing a range of emotions experienced by the researcher while researching queer groups, one can conclude that this is qualitative research aimed at measuring emotion and work management in the identity research field.
