Abstract
Institutional Affiliation 11th April 2021 Response to Cole Mayes It is true that ethical communication can be a massive help to anyone in the world. We can solve most of the unnecessary misunderstandings at work, in school and at home simply by adapting to a positive tone of communication. Tone is an essential tool of communication since it helps in interpretation of information (Mandelbaum, 2020). In corporate world today, people think it is easier to lie rather than choosing to stand for the truth. Instead of encouraging openness, truth and accountability, companies are choosing to sugar coat their products and lie for the purpose of gaining more profit. People should take their time to learn ethical communication and utilize the knowledge in every sphere of life. Response to Casey Townsend It is important to choose method of communication according to what suits the communicator and the receiver. People have different preferences in relation to the communication. While others prefer face to face conversations, some prefer information passed through emails, phone calls or text messages. This diversity explains why it is important for businesses to incorporate more than one form of communication (Mandelbaum, 2020). Many forms of communication will ensure inclusivity to the communication system of the company which in turn will increase productivity. Communication should be easier to both the communicator and receiver in order to achieve the intended objective. References Mandelbaum, A. (2020). Ethical Communication: The Basic Principles.
