To fully communicate ethically, an individual has to stop lying, avoid using a negative tone and should not only use one communication method (Plexico, 2021). Communication plays a major role in our lives and this is why embracing ethical communication will help reduce long term painful experiences associated with the use of inappropriate tone, lying to the receiver and one method of communication that result to unethical communication. Communicators can generate an ethical message by not lying to the receiver. The responsibility is to embrace the truth since it is an essential part of ethical communication (Plexico, 2021). Tone is an essential tool of communication. The underlying meaning is that the information and the manner of saying it are equally important. Using a negative tone during communication will interfere with the receiver’s response and this is why ethical communicators should always use polite tone to ease the response process (Plexico, 2021). Communicators should not restrict themselves to one method of communication for instance, they can use online and visiting for face-to-face discussion to increase the effectiveness of the information. Businesses depend on communication to assist employers, employees and customers understand their responsibilities. Ethical communication can be important to businesses since truth, positive tone and diverse methods of communication ensures effective flow of information (Plexico, 2021). For organization to practice ethical communication, members should not do specific actions while communicating. Such actions include, lying to consumer that the product from the company has superior effects as compared to a rival company with the purpose of increasing sales at the expense of the customers.
