Abstract
Topic: Identify and Discuss Common Mistakes in Decision Making Option Two: Literature Review Decision-making is a very sensitive process that demands knowledge, patience, and humility. It is a process that involves identifying gathered information, making a decision, and assessing alternative resolutions to make the most appropriate choice in the long run. Psychologists view decision-making as a cognitive process that results in selecting a belief from different alternative options. However, the complexity in arriving at the most appropriate choice and making the most appropriate decision remains hindered by common mistakes that prove avoidable. To this effect, this essay will serve as a literature review where the different scholarly arguments will form a strong base of arguments regarding the most common mistakes that people make in the decision-making process. A literature review proves the best approach in addressing the topic of study. It will offer a broad room for consideration before arriving at the final decision on why people make mistakes in the decision-making process. The literature review will also offer a broader understanding of different scholars’ views on the topic, thus practical to gauge the limitation of their study in response to the topic of the study.
