Alcohol and Tobacco Advertisements: Who Are They Targeting?

Abstract

HEALTH PSYC chapter 5,6,12,13 WEEK 5 discussion: alcohol &tobacco Are you being targeted by alcohol or tobacco companies and you don’t even know it? In this discussion board, please search the internet for a picture or video of an alcohol or tobacco advertisement. Next, discuss who the advertisement is designed to appeal to. Does the product promote a masculine or feminine image? Are various ethnic groups targeted? With what image does each product try to associate itself? Are people part of the advertisement, and if so, what age group is portrayed? Share at least 2 other aspects which might relate to the topics we are studying from our reading. Be sure to include a link or the picture of the advertisement. Be sure to fully and completely elaborate on the topic you select by writing at least 300 words.
