Abstract

Vision Care Scholarship I feel deeply honored to apply for vision care scholarship. It will be a great honor to get this opportunity as it will enable me to further my studies and commitment on vision care. I sincerely need this scholarship and I strongly believe that I deserve this golden opportunity because of my academic dedication, meaningful contributions to Assex County College and my strong passion for helping others especially those with eye problems. I wish to confirm that throughout my studies, I have managed to maintain a very strong academic record which openly reflects my dedication to achieve the best in academia especially in areas that can have positive impact on other people. I have also been an active member in campus initiatives, have been helping my classmates enhance their understanding of optics as well as fitting contact lens and normal glasses. I can attest that as a strong team leader, my role has positively enhanced my classmates’ confidence as well as solidifying my own skills as an upcoming optician. I have also been volunteering in assisting faculty and students provide affordable eye care to underserved community members. These have been great experiences in vision care field that have reinforced my passion to improve access to quality eye health. Besides my academic determinations and contributions, I have also engaged in workshop works to promote the relevance of routine eye care to the community at large. It is a commitment that reflects my belief that vision is not just a sense but rather the cornerstone of one’s quality of life thus the need to further my studies on vision care to make routine vision care a reality to all that will come along my way as a professional.
