Abstract

Argumentative Essay: Why we need Universal HealthCare in the United States? The world Heath organization believes in a health care plan that ensures all access to health care services without financial strain—the efficiency of health care entails timely treatment and quality service provision. Every nation upholds health safety. The United States does not have a Universal Health care system, a breeding ground for social inequality. According to (Opinion | ‘That’s Heartbreaking’: How American Health Care Looks from Abroad, 2021), “the American health care system is — to put it mildly — totally perplexing, an exercise in patience and a test of financial resilience.” The health of a country is attributed to its economic growth. The use of a universal health care system is a smart strategy where all populations can access health care services without discrimination. The government has a responsibility to protect and preserve the health of its citizens. Health care costs are perplexing and inflicting torture to many nations, more so the United States. This shows that health insurance plans cannot be relied on. Some individuals have had to forego checkups and other essential services for their health simply because they cannot pay for insurance covers. Some Americans have to secure loans if their loved ones are sick to offset later the loan, which is a threat to economic progress. Health insurance covers are draining, and poor Americans have to live on a squeezed budget to cater to their health needs. Universal health care is a solution for these few Americans who do not have a place to lean on. How can the most admired, elite, and wealthiest nation on earth succumb to such a crisis? The United States is a benchmark for other countries, and many nations emulate their progress and try to pick a few tips on health care from them. Getting a health insurance cover is not a walk in the park. It is a tedious procedure that is exhausting and time-consuming. It involves a lot of paperwork that needs certification by courts of law. Do we need to go through tedious processes to gain what is lawfully the responsibility of a government? We don’t need to...
