Sophisticated Bank Robbery: A Detailed Analysis of a Daring Heist

Abstract

Module 2 Assignment: Police Narrative Bank Robbery Analysis Incident Most bank robberies among other major robberies involve professional robbers who plan systematically for their robberies before performing them. Robberies within American banks are not an exception. It was on a cool afternoon some years back during our normal patrols when a well planned robbery happened in one of the major banks in America. The 26th march of 2020 after a serious blow of Covid-19 pandemic on many businesses, some robbers decided to destroy the peace of M bank operation with a well strategized robbery that took less than thirty minutes. The incident involved four perpetrators that targeted M bank with an intention of obtaining money and valuables unlawfully. Just like any normal customer, the four perpetrators arrived at the banks parking lot and two got out of their heavy hammer machine and proceeded to the bank entry area. Without creating unnecessary tension or suspicion, the two got inside the bank while the rest two proceeded with their car to the banks gateway one remaining in the car as its driver and the other got outside as a backup of the colleagues in case of unnecessary notice while well armed. Inside the bank, the two perpetrators removed their weapons and ordered conformity from all within the bank as a form of intimidation and control over victims and security personnel. One concentrated with possible access to vaults or cash while the other enhanced security through verbal and physical threats to all the victims. Their main objective was to achieve their mission in the least time possible and they succeeded because in less than thirty minutes, the perpetrators obtained their desired valuables/cash and fled swiftly using their great machine.
