Abstract
Course name Instructor’s name Assignment due date [Name] The topic I intend to explore in the research is the effect of social media usage on the self-esteem of adolescents. Determining how the use of social media could potentially affect young users is essential in ensuring their physical and mental health. The research question is, “How does daily social media usage among adolescents affect their self-esteem levels?” The results of the study will provide critical information that parents, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals could use to mitigate the harmful effects social media usage could have on adolescent users. Self-reported levels of daily social media use will provide data for the explanatory variable while the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) will be used to measure the response variable. Data analysis will be through hypothesis testing to determine...
