This discussion will critique two research articles from the internet, one reliable and one unreliable, based on their research design and credibility. Bremner et al. is an example of a reliable source of information on nutrition and stress. This article discusses diet, stress, and mental health with the three factors having a mutual relationship. The article is credible because it is published in a reputable journal PubMed. Evaluating it based on the research design, Bremner et al. did a credible job. The journal article is sequential, precise, and captures the reader's attention. The place of research, source of information, data and methods, measurement and analysis, and research results are known. The research is a literature review from 1980 to 2019, and articles were sourced from PubMed and Psycho info to determine the relationship between diet and psychiatric disorders. The criteria in which the information is collected are defined and used by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-5) as a reference to related psychiatric disorders related to nutrition. The article provides detailed information citing references from various scholars and relevant information on nutrition and mental health.
