Abstract
Factors Fostering the Legality of Abortion Abortion is terminating a pregnancy before the due date of delivering the child. It is a process experienced by many women across the globe, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Unfortunately, many people argue abortion from the killing of an innocent soul point of view which defines the immorality of the process. Unfortunately, restricting the legalization of abortion limits the realization of healthy abortions translating to a high mortality rate among women. Why do people think that miscarriage is a lesser evil than an abortion if not assumed perceptions grounded on fiction rather than logical facts? Abortion is a common health intervention that requires intervention by qualified health parties to ensure the successful process for the betterment of the woman carrying the pregnancy. While arguing from such a point of view, this essay will demonstrate why people should stop criticizing abortion but, on the contrary, advocate for its legalization to enhance productive, healthy life for many desperate women around the globe. Abortion remains a safe process when a professional consider the pregnancy duration. It is the only way to express respect for women's rights and dignity, as many undergo so much agony carrying unwanted pregnancies attributed to rape, among other stressful occurrences. Why Healthy Abortion? It is high time people all over the world start arguing about abortion from a health point of view. According to Kulathilaka et al. (1-6); Li et al. (1-6); and Terrie (1-10), abortion is a susceptible process that does not just happen from nowhere. On the contrary, some significant forces trigger an abortion, which calls for consideration before policymakers enforce abortion laws limiting accessibility to a healthy abortion process. Based on all these authors, opposing forces attributed to depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and actions and chromosomal imbalances are among the significant uncontrollable forces that foster the occurrence of symbolic background abortion. Unfortunately, abortion restrictive laws ignore such considerations exposing many women to unhealthy abortions that put their lives at risk. How could a change in such a perception enhance the positive effects of abortion? The fact that the number of abortions continues to register an upward trend among American women, only a positive abortion policy can reduce such cases of and save women's life. On the other hand, legalized abortion can enable the formulation of educative programs that can enlighten women of all ages on the need to remain cautious with pregnancies and pregnancy care which can change women’s perception towards abortion leading many to secure pregnancy until the delivery date. However, Berg confirms that the American government ignores the impact of miscarriage which claims many American women's lives. According to Berg (1220), illogical assumptions justify abortion illegalities leading to an increased rate of unhealthy abortions that claims many women’s life. Based on Berg, American policymakers assume that a fetus becomes human from conception, which limits the woman's control over such a life. Unfortunately, many fail to justify how life starts from conception but emphasize demanding rights for such an unborn child. It is fair to acknowledge and respect the gift of life, but again it is good to argue it from the unborn child and the carrier of such a baby’s point of view. Why do American policymakers only justify abortions illegality from the unborn child's point of view rather than the dangers such pregnancies or unhealthy abortions can pose to the life of a mother carrying such an unborn child? According to Berg (1217), it is high time to amend such policies and incorporate well-reasoned abortion laws that consider the well-being of the pregnant mother from the health risk associated with carrying any form of pregnancy as well as consideration of women's rights concerning what they wish to do with their bodies. Arguing from an ethical point of view, it is open that as far as the unborn child has the right to life as a gift from the creator, so does the woman carrying such a life within them. In such a case, it calls for consideration of healthy approaches to deal with both the mother and the unborn child throughout the pregnancy to nurture such pregnancies and to make ethical decisions when the need for abortion arises. It is not about the unborn life but rather the experiences of the woman carrying the child that would best justify the need for a healthy termination of any form of pregnancy (Cioffi et al., 3780). In most instances, women experience hell throughout their pregnancy. Fortunately, in cases of a wanted pregnancy, a woman can bear the pain and the agony associated with such experiences, which call for the respect of such women through their pregnancy journey and even the delivery process, which proves a challenge for many. Unfortunately, with unwanted pregnancies, the strength to withstand the pressures of health-related complications during pregnancy may lack. At this juncture, many women feel the need to terminate such pregnancies, citing the disappointments associated with caring for an unwanted child whose conception might result from incest, rape or even poor calculations of the safe days. According to (Fredrik 2), such challenges only remain understandable from the medical point of view, which is why anti-abortion policymakers must engage medical practitioners to get insights on what triggers or justifies a legal abortion before drafting policies that limit the potential of respecting such conditions. Why Access to Affordable and Quality Abortion Care for All American Women? Blystad et al. (1-6) and Beaman et al. (2398-2400) offer clear insights on why the availability of health facilities offering healthy abortion services to all American women is the most potent remedy to the adverse effects witnessed in America associated with unhealthy abortions. There is no harm in allowing women to express their will towards their bodies. However, it is essential to establish substantial grounds that define the legalities of abortion to limit unnecessary manipulation of...
