The article describes the relationship between employee health and safety and job insecurity. The data was obtained from a Turkish shipyard company, which is downsizing. The authors describe downsizing as a precursor of most job insecurity problems triggering most health problems. Six months before the research, the employees were 400, and 200 are now remaining for the study. One hundred forty-seven forms were handed over to employees for investigation, but 125 were returned to the survey. The scale of measurement was anchored with strongly agree and strongly disagree. The questionnaire entailed questions such as; I am worried about having to leave my job before I would like to. There is a risk that I will have to go my present position in the year to come; I feel uneasy about losing my job in the near future, Cutbacks are frequently discussed, and Departments have been/may be merged; it is a risk for the company closedown, and There are rumors concerning changes at the workplace. The four parameters used for the assessment include; Job Insecurity, Physical health complaints, Mental health complaints, and Unsafe Behaviors. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS for Windows 11.5. the correlation analysis results of the research indicate a positive correlation and a significant relationship between job insecurity and the four parameters used for the survey. In a downsizing company, the relationship between job insecurity perceptions and health outcomes and certify the hypothesis on the adverse effects on; Job Insecurity, Physical health complaints, Mental health complaints, and Unsafe Behaviors. (2020). Mental Health: An Empirical Research among Adolescents. Kumar and Varma focused their empirical research on school-going adolescents to ascertain their mental wellbeing. They considered mental health an essential factor in an individual's physical and social wellbeing and a critical aspect among adolescents in the modern days. The authors collected data from 483 students from the Government model senior secondary schools of Chandigarh city. They included 216 males and 267 females from 14 to 18 years old. The researchers considered all dimensions of mental health, including; (positive self-evaluation, perception of reality, integration of personality, autonomy, group-oriented attitude, and environmental mastery. The Mental Health Inventory (MHI, Jagdish & Srivastava, 1983) was used to assess the mental health of the school-going adolescents. The descriptive statistics were obtained from the five dimensions and calculated using the SPSS version 25, and they all exhibited poor outcomes except for average autonomy. The overall mental health was poor for the students. The results of both genders were similar, and minor observations were revealed in the research. The researchers talked about the various factors that contribute to the students' poor mental health, including social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Twitter. Other social outcomes like alcohol, smoking, tobacco and illicit substance use, adolescent pregnancy, school dropouts, and delinquent behaviors contribute immensely to poor health outcomes in adolescents. Lack of awareness of mental health and appropriate guidance and counseling worsen mental health conditions. Mental disorders are determined by adverse childhood experiences and trauma, which proved essential determinants of mental health. Stress, maltreatment, family violence, and parental instability contribute to mental health problems.
