Abstract

Understanding human behavior and improving workplace dynamics need the use of applied psychology, particularly organizational psychology. Today, many businesses use applied psychology techniques to improve staff happiness, work satisfaction, and general productivity. I work for a company that actively incorporates applied psychology into its management processes in order to boost employee engagement, teamwork, and overall organizational performance. In our workplace, We created an applied psychology-based feedback and performance evaluation system at work. The method was created to offer constructive criticism and encourage worker development. Instead of concentrating solely on annual performance reports, we introduced monthly check-ins and ongoing feedback meetings between managers and staff. Employees felt heard and empowered as a result of these conversations, which focused on both their strengths and areas for development. The technique also promoted goal-setting and self-reflection, which helped to align personal aspirations with organizational objectives. This kind of applied psychology helped create a culture of lifelong learning, personal growth, and open communication, which improved employee engagement, motivation, and performance as a whole. Through an MBA program, I hope to have a thorough understanding of company management, including the application of psychological principles. My goal is to get insights into human behavior in organizational environments so that I can effectively lead and manage. MBA students frequently expect to learn about organizational behavior, human resource management, and leadership, all of which involve principles of applied psychology. Typically, I aim to learn practical techniques to improve employee engagement, team relations, and establish a great work culture with this training. I also want to improve my leadership skills and learn more about how psychology impacts organizational decision-making.
