Unethical Cloning for Longevity: Merrick Lab Sanctioned for Organ Harvesting

Press Release: “The Island” Unethical Longevity Research Approach deserving Sanctions to deter its Developments October 24th 2023 Los Angeles California – Public Citizen discovered serious ethical violations associated with creation of human cloning research to enhance longevity for the wealthy within Merrick Laboratory in The Island. Merrick Laboratory proves a highly advanced and sensitive research facility whose focus in human cloning started in 2005 aimed at unethical motives like organ harvesting, deception and control. Humans require organ transplant as a remedy to some health concerns along their lives. The main challenge with this process is identifying a reliable source to harvest such organs, thus facilitating this process through unjust means implies a violation of such clones that Merrick creates and harvests organs from yet they do not even understand their purpose within the lab facility. It is not a crime for scientists and physicians to engage in a biotechnological research aimed at solving any pressing medical problem like human organs shortage as this can enhance longevity through novel synthetic organism. However, Merrick Laboratory diverted such ethical mission within its clone creation research to facilitate deception and control motives limiting the clones’ awareness of their true purpose of organ harvesting to enhance long life to the wealthy and make money for the researchers. The exploitative and unethical nature of Merrick’s research becomes apparent as it leads to numerous concerns about the rights of the clones. Merrick’s cloning research becomes an ethical nightmare because it was doe for the sole purpose of organ harvesting thus facilitating other personal privileges to Merrick. Such a mission raises concerns about the dignity, autonomy and rights of these cloned individual.
