Boosting Youth Engagement and Reducing Crime in Citrus Bend

Abstract

Statement of Need Citrus Bend is one of the regions within Panther County that demand attention to ensure the realization of a habitable environment for all. It is quite unfortunate that crime rates within this region rise at an alarming rate. I attribute the rise of crimes within Citrus Bend to lack of education amongst most of its residents, which leaves many of these residents unemployed. To this effect, levels of poverty within Citrus Bend remains defined. Another concern within Citrus Bend is the income generation amongst the employed populations, which averages below $20 000 yearly. The fact that there is no noted recreation center within Citrus Bend is a clear indication that children and youths may continue spending their leisure time engaging in crime, which calls for an address to ensure this population remains engaged at all times. General Description Based on the concerns mentioned above for the Citrus Bend populace, the committee openly finds merit in its intervention to enhance the realization of productive life for this region's people. Since youths and minors crime report an alarming upwards tread that the committee attributes to lack of engaging activities within the area, the need to establish a recreation center is essential to cater to this need. Having noted that Youths and minors need special attention/handling to ensure they open up, the newly established centers will have programs that focus on understanding this generation. Through these programs, juvenile delinquency becomes fully addressed, with minors worth remaining defined amongst the community. With such a program, I believe crime rates within Citrus Bend will become addressed to its totality among other areas of concern like education and self-worth, which benefit the community and girl child to be precise (Lydia, Gordon, and Basra, 2021).
