Abstract
Project One Goal Setting for Weight Loss amongst Fitness Trainees As a fitness trainee, the situation I have chosen is lack of healthy weight amongst fitness trainees thus the need for goal setting for weight loss amongst them. The people involved are fitness trainees that have expressed unhealthy weight leading them to poor performance regardless of their engagements in the assigned physical activities. It is an issue that affects their practice sessions as most of them get tired or loss potentials to satisfy the demands of the assigned activities limiting any success in a competitive match which if not remedied can have negative effects on their morale and motivation among other trainees. Description of Program Stage 1: Setting specific goals weeks 1-3 The program will begin with clear instructions on what to expect from the noted trainees whose body mass index demands attention. These people will be expected to lose 1-2 pounds per week through engagements in 2 hours of moderate intensity aerobic exercise and strength training for at least four times a week for the stated three weeks. Only the successful trainees will proceed the next stage while those that will fail demanded to repeat until achieve the set goals. Stage 2: Setting moderately difficult but realistic goals (weeks 4-5) During this stage, trainees will be allowed to set personal goal directed to realization of a healthy weight. The instructor will also set the expected goals to enhance success of project. One setting the preferred balanced and sustainable nutrition plan that aligns with the individual dietary restrictions and preferences. However, due to the strictness nature of this goal, all trainees must maintain a calorie limited meal for period of two weeks thus no junk meals and more fruits and veggies.
