COUNSELING THEORY &TECHNIQUES Chapter 7, 8 Case Study: Stan Read Case Study: Stan at the end of Chapter 8, page 224, of the Corey textbook. WEEK 4 DISCUSSION: CASE STUDY – STAN AND THE GESTALT THEORY This week you will go back to the case of Stan and examine your role as his therapist by providing techniques of the Gestalt theory in assisting Stan. Gestalt provides various interventions in working with clients including: role playing, future projection, making the round, starting with the feeling, working with dreams and creating experiments.
