Prepare for Make-Up Essay on Freakonomics Podcast
On Thursday, May 4, specific questions for the content of your essay will be released. There will be five questions, each one requiring a targeted answer based on the content of the podcast. The first four questions refer to Topics 9 through 12 as indicated below. The last question requires you to evaluate Acemoglu’s research methodology. Write your essay to be handed in by 11:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10. A grace period will be extended until 11:00 pm on Friday, May 12 with a 2-point deduction. Acceptable formats are doc, docx, and pdf. The content of your test answers must be strictly your own work, and you are not permitted to discuss your answers with others. There are right and wrong answers for each question. This is not an opinion essay. You can construct your essay as five stand-alone parts. Don’t waste words creating a smooth transition between the different answers. Straightforward answers are best.
