Abstract

“Is it better to dream big or be Realistic?” What strategy makes an individual’s dreams come true? Everyone is looking for the answer to this question to make progress in their life journey. It is more substantial to dream big than be realistic. Big dreamers lay a foundation for achieving what seems to be unrealistic for instance inventing new technology and exploration. Everyone is a dreamer and there is that one successful life each individual aspires to accomplish. The world is tough with tribulations that push us into facing reality but we cannot stop when obstacles come our way. Dreamers set goals, aspirations, and targets. They have no limits and boundaries Being realistic is an easy path to success since there are low chances of failure. Unfortunately, everyone opts for the easy road to success, but dreamers opt for the rock and tough course doing the extraordinary. Successful people have dreamt big walking away from the realists identifying themselves with something new and unique. Realistic goals limit success. It confines society in a dungeon, deems and outdated. If it were not for big dreamers who were idealistic and ambitious, society would be doomed. According to (O’Flaherty), realistic thinking is for the real world but big dreams are for the dream world; if you put in an effort, then the dream world becomes a reality. When big dreamers set goals, they go beyond what is reality. Truth be told there is that dream car, dream house, dream partner, and dream country for vacation. It keeps us going and motivates us each day to work hard. When we stop dreaming, life stops and we settle for less. Dreamers conquer the world; they do the extraordinary to prove the realists wrong.
