Persuasive Speech Topic: Covid-19 Vaccine General Purpose: To persuade my audience to accept and advocate for covid-19 vaccine as proves a potential remedy in fighting the deadly Corona Virus INTRODUCTION Attention Gainer: Ignorance has no defense proves a common saying that is best defined through effects of ignoring basic vaccines like polio during childhood. Don’t people end up with disabilities? Unfortunately, even with the rising mortality attributed to Corona virus, people are still ignoring Covid-19 vaccine which proves the only remedy in controlling such deaths. According to a report compiled by (Lu, (2020)in the Journal of Emerging Microbes and Infections, it became clear that, Sars-2-CoV(SARS) reported rapid spread from China to many countries with easy human-to-human transmissions and millions of deaths. Development and deployment of Covid-19 vaccine globally therefore is no longer a mere discussion or part of debate whether such a vaccine is ultimately needed (Lu, 2020) Reason to Listen: Covid-19 is a global pandemic whose effects are too defined to be ignored. The rising infections, the changing variants and the alarming mortalities, only a vaccine can help change the situation. I have tried the vaccine after understanding that I have to continue interacting with the public as long as I live. Human-to Human transmission proves a major threat that makes the vaccine quite a problem whose remedy is vested on its developer’s potentials to satisfy the rising demands alternatively the pandemic sweeps away the entire humanity. For this reason, the need to invest in science and ensure vivid research in such countries is the key in enhancing local manufacturing of the vaccine in response to the undying demands.
