Leveraging Coaching and Visionary Leadership Styles to Inspire Teams

Abstract

I feel I have several types of leadership styles, the first and main type being the coaching style. This is my leadership style because I feel with previous experience, I can point out the employee's strengths and weaknesses. Listed in the article are some qualities you may have if you have the coaching leadership style such as supportive, offers guidance instead of giving commands, and values learning as a way of growing.  The second leadership style I feel I have is the visionary leadership style. Like said in the article visionary leaders have the ability to drive progress. I see this am one of my styles of leadership because I am optimistic and try to inspire my employees so that can help produce the best options to help our team to make it better.   Each of these leadership styles come with their own challenges. The coaching leadership styles biggest challenges are it requires face to face interaction which can take up your time. And the visionary leadership style challenges are they are focused on achieving the big picture and can sometimes miss a few things. Also, they can make their employees feel unheard because they look in the future.
