The company has created a transparent platform in which consumers can create informed choices. The CEO and Chairman Brian Nicoll reviewed the 2021 progress of sustainability, alluding that they stayed true to their people’s integrity, food integrity, and principles. The core value was sustainability and how to grow food to maintain a sustainable future. The company maintains that its sourcing considers people, animals, and the environment. The CEO believes that consumers should be aware of where food comes from. They have also invested in its people and environmental impact on a huge scale. The company has aggressive goals and is envisioned to create a sustainable future. The company promotes its employee growth, alluding that 90% of the restaurant management roles were employee promotions. It has also depicted an exclusive and award-winning culture that appreciates employees, protects the environment, and creates clean energy. According to (Hu et al. 345), Chipotle has established composting programs that have enhanced the conversion of waste into energy, and new restaurants are participating in food donation programs. Chipotle admits accountability for its actions and strives toward improving its corporate affairs and Food Safety. Social issues that affect humanity are adverse, and many and no single business can solve all the issues. Most companies choose those issues that intersect and align with their business. The most significant attribute is the ability of the company to create a shared value for the community and its business. Prioritizing social issues is a way of creating an affirmative corporate social responsibility. Chipotle company has advanced its way beyond community expectations toward solving the social condition. The company has significantly impacted social conditions, and it is envisioned to expand its territories.
