Abstract
Peer Check-in So far, I have accomplished a lot in this course. One significant achievement is the ability to understand what researching a topic or an issue is all about. Initially, I thought research was such a complicated task that it was confusing. However, I have come to understand that conducting research on a topic is fun, as the course has given me the opportunity to explore each step at a time. I believe I have the ability to move on with my research paper. The most surprising thing in my research process is the insights I get every time I get instructions on my next part of research. I have come to understand that different scholars have different views regarding child abuse and the academic performance of primary school children. Interestingly, in a way, we all conclude that child abuse, whether physical, emotional, or psychological, has adverse effects on the general well-being of our children, affecting their potential to excel in academics. I would like to ask my classmates how it feels to be part of this course. As for me, I have really enjoyed being part of this class. Reading my colleagues discussion posts and interacting with peer replies.
