Based on the case scenario, it becomes clear that Easy Chair's decision to adopt technology and enhance its online operations has subjected Inge to many responsibilities that she fears that if no help is offered, the company might suffer a blow. Therefore, to ensure a smooth transition, defined strategies on knowledge management need to be put into effect to save easy Chairs from experiencing any negative effects on its daily operations at current and in the future. Knowledge representation serves as the initial step in the knowledge management process (Week 4 Reading, 2021). The knowledge representation step will enhance the process of identifying, preparing, documenting and actualizing all the Inge and the others concerning Easy Chair operations. For this reason, organizational culture remains defined whereby easy Chair must establish and maintain a knowledge-sharing behavior whereby employees remain positively reinforced to share whatever Knowledge they have with each other. The second step that can enhance knowledge management is knowledge communication (Anonymous, 2014). With knowledge communication, it becomes possible to capture, collect and analyze all the relevant ideas that Inge and teams have concerning introduced online operations within Easy Chair. Such an approach is best achieved through mentorship programs, workplace collaborations, meetings, forums, and informal groups, where communication remains defined. For this reason, one can combine processes that involve the distribution of information and Knowledge, knowledge sharing, and knowledge-based cooperation, which enhances the process of gathering the most efficient Knowledge in the overall operation of the organization. Victory in this step is best achieved through communication, which can be one-on-one through open meetings. The other step in knowledge management is knowledge development, whereby external knowledge procurement, creation of knowledge resources also aids a lot in Knowledge capturing from employees (Week 4 Readings, 2021). Development of Knowledge is enhanced through communicating with employees to understand their views, ideas and opinions regarding their assigned tasks. With such an exercise, one can manage to capture so much information that can be of great relevance in moving an organization in the right direction. Knowledge collection is best explained through the data mining process, which involves data integration, data cleaning, data transformation, pattern evaluation, and data presentation, which is best achieved by establishing defined data storage means (Week 4 Readings, 2021). Upon completing the Knowledge capturing and collecting process, storing the information for future decision making for the organization is essential. Knowledge storing is best done in digital forms (Anonymous, (n.d). It is evident that as an organization creates more data, the need to advance its documenting strategies remains the key to the efficient recovery of the collected information.
