Pursuing a Career as a Licensed Optician: My Passion for Vision Care

Abstract

My Desire as an Optic to become a Licensed Optician I have always admired becoming an optician since childhood. This has been my ultimate career goal. I sincerely wish to become a licensed optician and help people improve their vision as well as the general quality of life through exceptional eye care. As a licensed optician, my aspiration is to provide personalized as well as high quality services in this field where I believe precision, empathy and attention to details are very crucial. As a self-motivate, I value making tangible impact in people’s lives. I feel completely attached to this field of vision care because it is a field that will allow me to blend technical expertise with compassionate care. I strongly believe that higher education is the key to achieving my aspiration. Basically, through college I aim to build a very strong base in optics, anatomy as well as patient care. My love for vision care will always serve as my guide. As a student, I am looking forward to gain hands-on experience with the current technologies and tools in vision care filed. I also look forward to learn from this field’s professionals and develop communication skills necessary for creating meaningful engagements and connections with patients. I honestly see college as an open opportunity to easier networking with peers and mentors who in this case share my passion and the will to deliver in vision care field. Only college admission will foster a community that will support my growth and development as a professional.
