Abstract

Week 2 Brainstorming Discussion: Managing the actual work environment and type of culture will be best for Virginia Meats in the future and resistance to change of the vision. The CEO of VMI was intrigued by your vision of the role of a VMI manager facing the merger and managing change. This week he would like to see more specifics of the vision and most importantly how you plan to approach the fact the resistance to change is inevitable.  Directions:  1. By FRIDAY, complete the following: Brainstorm and provide an outline addressing the following elements: Analyze how and why future automation will affect the organization both positively and negatively and provide a few details Identify and describe the organizational structure of the company as you envision it (the types of jobs and the flow of power) and provide a few details Identify and describe the actual work environment (physical vs. virtual).
