Navigating the American Bureaucracy: Exploring the Impact of Economic Policies

Abstract

Discussion Out of the different policies, I do experience economic policy daily. Economic policies entail the decisions made by the government on the supply of money, taxation, and distribution of income and resources, in our everyday activities with interacting with the governments in various ways that we cannot evade. The most common economic policy is taxation. Every citizen must pay taxes. The various taxes we interact with daily are consumption, income, and property. Economics deals with money, fiancé, and business, and we interact with these aspects daily by applying economic policies. Economic policies apply in lending and borrowing money based on interest rates, which are activities we encounter daily. A fascinating aspect unique to this course is the American bureaucracy. The concept of federalism, which involves the sharing of political authority among the states and local governments, makes American democracy fascinating. American bureaucracy makes decision-making and problem-solving easier and less chaotic. It promotes the smooth running of processes and operations. Bureaucracy makes America work; it eliminates discrimination, provides a hierarchical division of labor, and equality in allocating resources and job opportunities. Despite the challenges associated with bureaucracy, it is still the best option that promotes federalism.
