When is public speaking a call to serve others? Is everyone called?
God blesses humans with the defined ability to speak, thus a daily call to all, not just the great speakers, to love and serve others (our neighbors who include everybody in need) with the gift of communication. According to Schultze (2020), public speaking becomes a call to serve others when one has something influential to share with others, thus the need to respect God's call by fighting all odds and speaking publicly. Arguing public speaking from the servant speakers’ point of view, one can confirm that a faithful public speaker aims at publicly sharing this God-given gift to enlighten, motivate, and encourage others on pressing issues. Citing Rick and Barb's marriage engagement as a significant example, it is evident that their public speech about HIV/AIDS changed many people’s perceptions towards infected persons, excellently strengthening many marriages. For this reason, one can argue that God uses human weaknesses to demonstrate his glory, thus requiring people to learn how to speak the truth in love impacting them in one way or the other, thus serving them through such public talks. Since communication is a potential way to put our love of God and others in need
