Analysis Paper on the cruciblle play by arthur miller 23 11 21.edited

The crucible is an exciting play that describes personal vengeance as a potential force that enhanced chaos and disorder to the entire community during the witch trial era in Salem (Taylor, 187). Based on Miller, the Witch trial in Salem was a devastating time when many innocent lives were lost attributed to false accusations of witchcraft. Innocent people were hanged mercilessly and jailed without logical proof of their connection with witchcraft. However, the relevance of reputation remains well defined throughout the play as Miller aims to enlighten his target audience on the need to have a defined reputation. Though people remained accused of witchcraft which severely damaged their reputations, re-building such reputations remained hindered through confessions of being a witch but gained after the cancellation of such confessions. Failure to confess led to hangings and jail terms, mainly for the innocents whose accusations remained unjustified. Suppose The Crucible Play was not about how Poisoned power, false hysteria, and guilt spread in society. In that case, there are no better terms of defining the devastating experiences that the Salem witch trials exposed to its target population.
